Cuckoo will create a healthy food culture that move the hearts of people all over the world with tteokguk (rice-cake soup) and tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cake) tteok (rice cake) made by using our patented technology-based traditional methods that are true to the basics to deliver the pure, natural taste.

Since building a production plant in the uncontaminated region of Goesan, North Chungcheong Province, Cuckoo has been captivating the taste buds of people all over the world with tteokguk tteok and tteokbokki tteok totally differentiated from our competitors’ products that combine traditional methods and innovative technologies. Although we are a new company, we export to more than 10 countries in Europe, America, and Asia, thanks to our patented technology, fresh, natural raw ingredients, and food manufacturing true to the basics. In 2023, we were selected as one of the “Global Giant 1,000+” by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

Cuckoo is dedicated to showcasing the natural flavor of rice cakes made from freshly milled rice to our customers, based on food manufacturing know-how utilizing traditional methods, in the HACCP-certified state-of-the-art facility. We apply strict hygiene standards at all stages of processing, packaging, and distribution with the mindset that the food manufacture is for our families and that if we lose the trust of our customers, we lose everything, along with our continuing efforts to bring the flavors of mom’s food.

Furthermore, Cuckoo practices ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) management for a sustainable future. With the philosophy of pursuing a healthy and happy life together with our neighbors, we have continuously contributed to society since Cuckoo’s founding by donating products to centers and organizations for underprivileged in the region and engaging in volunteer work. In addition, we practice eco-friendly management with our solar power generation facilities at our production plants in an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
